About NNWS
Nepal Nature and Wellness Society (NNWS) is a non-profit, non-political, and volunteer-based social organization (NGO) registered at the District Administration Office (DAO), Kathmandu, Nepal. The organization is led by a committed team of young professionals dedicated to promoting community development, equitable access to basic services, and sustainable well-being.
NNWS was established with the vision of improving the health, well-being, and environmental conditions of underserved and marginalized populations in Nepal. Through community-based approaches and public health principles, the organization works to strengthen preventive, promotive, and basic curative services at the grassroots level.
Over time, NNWS aims to build a strong network of trained volunteers, health workers, and youth leaders to support outreach, health education, and rapid response during public health emergencies and natural disasters.

Objectives of NNWS

  • To strengthen health service delivery systems through preventive, promotive, and basic curative healthcare programs.
  • To implement community-based public health interventions focusing on maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, mental health, nutrition, hygiene, and non-communicable diseases.
  • To promote environmental health and sustainability by addressing water, sanitation, waste management, pollution, and climate-related health risks.
  • To mobilize and develop a strong network of youth volunteers and health ambassadors to support community outreach, awareness campaigns, and grassroots health initiatives.
  • To organize health camps, screening programs, and mobile outreach clinics in coordination with local health institutions and authorities.

 

 

  • To enhance health literacy and capacity building through training, workshops, and participatory community education programs.
  • To support agricultural development and related community-based initiatives.
  • To collaborate with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and international partners for effective implementation of health and environmental programs.
  • To support research, data collection, and evidence-based practices aimed at improving public health outcomes in Nepal.
  • To coordinate emergency health response and disaster relief efforts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders during natural disasters and public health crises.
